Trust Walk

Did you ever do a trust walk as a kid? You would be blindfolded and another kid would have to lead you around to where you were supposed to go. It was fun and awkward. There was always that one kid that would cheat. There was always the one kid who would run you into stuff on purpose.

In our lives, when it comes to the future, we are blindfolded. We don’t know what is ahead. We don’t know what God has in store. We have to move, but we have to trust God to do the leading, cause he can see where we are going.

God sent Abram moving around. He didn’t know where God wanted him to end up. He would go and find a spot and pray and move on. “He moved from there to the mountain east of Bethel, and he pitched his tent… there he built an altar to the Lord and called on the name of the Lord. So Abram journeyed, going on still toward the South.”
Who knows what that prayer time was like? Was he mad or scared? Was he focused and listening? Who knows?
I see someone who keeps moving around and seeking God. I can at least relate to that! We are all on a journey.
Take time to cry out to God. Sometimes he will tell you to stay, sometimes to go. But there is great comfort in trusting, knowing that he will provide and that he goes before us to prepare a place for us!
